Buttons are big on purpose: they’re made for chalky hands.
The app follows your phone’s light or dark setting.
Text is checked for enough contrast in light and dark mode.
The app works at larger text sizes.
We want Garden of Iron and this website to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, a keyboard instead of a mouse, larger text, or high-contrast and dark settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, and there’s a “Skip to content” link at the top.
- Images have text descriptions, and form fields have labels.
- Text is checked for enough contrast in both light and dark mode. The app follows your phone’s light or dark setting.
- Buttons are big on purpose (they’re made for chalky hands), and the app works at larger text sizes.
